Hi there!
We had to go to bed before we had time to write our blog last night. After Billy came home we were all very busy helping to decorate the Christmas tree. Unfortunately we didn't manage to quite finish it, because Odd Sock and Terry Tiger kept getting themselves all tangled up trying to sort out the tinsel! We hope to get all the Christmas tree decorations up before Billy comes home from school today, to give him a nice surprise! Yesterday we had a picture of some pine trees in the snow behind our Advent Calendar window, and today we had a picture of a sledge.

What's better than a pair of socks? Hi everyone, Odd Sock here! We've been having lots of fun today! Terry Tiger and I were trying to help Melinda wrap some Christmas presents. TT then decided to wrap me up in a box when Melinda wasn't looking. I was supposed to pop out shortly after, but it was dark, and I was a bit sleepy, so I fell asleep. Melinda was wondering where I'd gone, and even TT forgot which box I was in. I don't know how long I was in there, but I woke up at some point, burst out of the box, and made them both jump out of their skins! Oh, and today we had three kings behind the window of our Advent calendar! Hi everyone!
Sorry we didn't update you about our Advent calendar yesterday. We were rather tired after all the excitement of Carol Concerts and Pantomimes (not to mention trying to help Odd with her "Tweets" on twitter!) So last night we all went to bed very early. We've been helping Melinda write Christmas cards this morning. Buster has just taken the first lot to the postbox! We are all hoping we can help Billy's mum get our Christmas tree out soon! Oh, as for our Advent calendar, we got a Christmas pudding yesterday, and 2 bells this morning! Hi there! I've had a busy day today!First we all performed our pantomime with Billy, in front of his parents and his Nan. (We called it "Socks in Boots"!) Then I went with Billy to one of his friend's houses, where I met this great new friend called Socky!Oh, and we had a snowflake behind the window of our Advent Calendar today! This is Socky - he's really fun to play with! 😊
Hi there! Our Carol Concert last night was great fun, so today Billy has been helping us make-up our own pantomime!I'm an elf in it, I hope you like my new costume!I'm still struggling to get the rest of the gang to practise their parts for the nativity play though...
Oh, and today we got a picture of Father Christmas behind the window on our Advent Calendar! Hi there! Hi there!
We have been a bit scared today, as it has been very very windy here in the UK, and we thought the roof of our house was going to blow off! The wind is dropping now, so we should be able to get to sleep. I think we might all ask Billy if we can curl up together in his bed tonight though. We are getting more excited now that Christmas is only 20 sleeps away! (I hope Santa brings me my Pogo stick!) Today we had a Christmas Cracker behind our window in our Advent Calendar. Oh, and Odd Sock has had to edit the blog she wrote on Saturday, as she typed in a mistake! (She has written below to explain her mistake. Hi there!
I'd better be quick, as it's well past my bedtime here in the UK! Melinda and Odd Sock have both been very busy today, and they have now put the Top of the Wardrobe Gang onto Twitter! If you want to "follow" us, then Melinda can be found at @TopOWG, and Odd is at @OddSockTOWG. We don't think either of them really know what they are doing yet though. Odd Sock was excited to find that we had an Angel behind today's window on our Advent Calendar (she loves Angels!) Good Night from all of us! Hi there!Yes, if you look at our Advent Calendar above, then you'll see that we got a Snowman behind today's window!I've been holding auditions today for my little Nativity play. It's been a bit tricky, because no one can agree on who has which parts. I really want to wear my Angel costume and be the angel, but none of the boys want to play Mary, so I may have to do that instead! I hope we can decide on parts soon, so we can start our rehearsals!
Hi!
I've not written a blog before, this is kind of exciting! I haven't been feeling too good for the last few weeks. The people who made me didn't fill me with very good stuffing, and all the hugs I have had made the stuffing break-up into tiny bits. I'd gone very flat and thin, and what stuffing I had left felt crunchy when people hugged me! Melinda had bought a big bag of new good stuffing for me, and last night she unpicked a small bit of my stitching, took out my old stuffing, put loads of the new stuffing in, then stitched me back up again. I was a bit scared, so Odd Sock held my paw while it was all done. I feel much bigger and better now though! Oh, and I am supposed to tell you that we got a candy cane under today's window in our Advent Calendar! |
