P.D. stands for Please Don't.
That is what Burton kept shouting at P.D. when he first came to live with Billy. P.D. can be very mischievous!

What does he do?
Draws all the pictures for the gang's books.

Likes:
Climbing (up trees, or anything else he can find), and travel. He especially loves to stow away in people's bags and to travel by airplane to faraway places.

Dislikes:
Being told not to do things. (It always makes him even more tempted to do mischievous things!)

Favorite Food:
Bananas

Interesting Fact About P.D. Monkey:
Billy's Mom has sewn a label with the gang's address onto his bottom. This helps strangers to return him home when he keeps going missing.

What he dreams of doing with any money he makes from selling books:
Buying a drum kit and a "round-the-world" airplane ticket.
